Institute of Supernaturals: Savage Page 14
I felt the shift inside myself.
Tristan and the others were mine. And even though I was still getting to know them, I would not let anything happen to them.
Just as they would protect me as well.

The day passed quickly, after seeing Tristan, I headed to the library, where I found Wesley playing a DS. He ended up setting aside his game and finding me a book on kitsunes to read, History and the lore about them.
Okay, maybe we didn’t just study. I ended up horny again, and one thing led to another, and we ended up doing it hard against the bookshelf, knocking down a number of tomes as we had fun.
I read more about this intriguing aura that the Dorian lines were known for afterwards. Not just them either, there had been a number of warrior protector lines who harnessed their auras in such a unique way.
But the things they could do with these auras, I could see why they were classed as deadly supes.
They could project it in a way that they could make clones of themselves. Many had been trained in the ancient battle technique, so it looked like I was on my own in discovering how to use this.
Unless Mr Oxley returned with news, although we had no idea how long he’d be gone for.
From my understanding, kitsunes were mega badasses.
So you got a lifelong deal of bad luck if you killed one, which almost always resulted in an early death.
They could take up to nine mates, a fun fact I had to reread just to be sure. Something to do with how many tails a kitsune could form. There’d only be a few kitsunes over the centuries who’d gained all nine tails. They were the best of the best, the most dangerous of all kitsunes. The number of tails a kitsune had represented their strength and skill.
My agility and speed came from being one, but so did my quick healing from injuries obtained from other supes.
My weakness? Golden blades. Guess that was why I’d always hated gold jewelry. Apparently it burned and took longer to heal, the way werewolves did with silver.
There was the statistics of fertility. Kitsunes were rare due to their low success rates. Which worked in my favor since none of my guys had used protection with me.
According to this text, I’d know instantly if I’d conceived. Interesting.
I read about tales of warrior kitsunes, feared and revered fighters over the years.
And the order that had killed many of them off, driving us to near extinction until the Council intervened and destroyed the order. Well, they thought they had. Factions had risen from the ashes, and many kitsunes went into extreme hiding, even in the supernatural communities.
I was pulled from my reading as a knock sounded on the library door.
“Sav?” Leon called out.
“What’s up?” I answered as I closed my book, making sure to take note of the page number as the door opened.
“Wes said you were in here, figured you might like some lunch,” Leon gave me his stunning grin as he headed over with a tray of food.
My stomach grumbled in response, and I caught a whiff of assorted fruits.
I thanked him as he perched on the plush couch beside me with the tray, and I instantly went for the sliced watermelon.
Leon ate with me quietly, and we were content in each other’s company.
“So, I was thinking, maybe tonight after dinner, we could practice your aura training?” Leon suggested as he finished off a slice of apple.
Watching him eat so carefully, making sure not to drip anything, made me smile softly.
“Sure, I’ve just been reading up on kitsunes and our history. We’re pretty wicked,” I smirked.
“Yeah, kitsunes are awesome. Very rare now though, I’d never met one until you,” he stated as he plucked some grapes off the tray and tossed them back.
“So, as an angel, can you sprout wings?” I asked, curious as to how his angel side worked.
“Maybe,” he said playfully, those bright blue eyes glinting with childlike mischief.
I pried into his mind, ignoring his pout as he felt me snooping.
“You do,” I said proudly as I uncovered the fact for myself.
“You’re no fun,” he grumbled.
“So, you’re planning on going into town today?” I clarified, I’d seen his thoughts about it.
“Yeah, there’s this homeless guy I’ve heard of, he’s going blind and is struggling. Thought I could grant him a miracle,” Leon said earnestly, giving me a sheepish smile. As if he was embarrassed at being found out for helping people.
“That’s really nice of you to do,” I murmured.
“Yeah, well, I figured if I have such a gift, I should help others,” he murmured, scooting closer so that our arms were touching as he set the tray on the coffee table before us.
“Whereas my gift is the opposite,” I sighed, eyeing the now empty tray. We’d annihilated that quickly.
“You’re not just a killer, Sav,” Leon sighed as he turned his head to focus on me.
I was perched on a pillow, my legs pulled up before me as my body faced him, while he sat facing the coffee table.
“Well, it’s all I’ve ever done,” I murmured. It was all I knew, the main thing I was good at.
“Tristan got you a guitar, you played it yet?” Leon asked, and I could feel him digging around inside my mind.
“Not yet, I was going to this afternoon.”
“I’d love to hear you sing one day,” he said, and I was grateful at the casual way he said it, not being pushy or demanding. I knew he was quite curious, I could feel it.
“So, Damien and rehabilitating animals,” I mused, changing the subject. I was not overly big on letting others know about my love for music. Especially my singing. I’d never sung in front of anyone before.
I could prance around naked in front of a group of guys, but ask me to sing, and it was another story.
“Yeah, he’s done it ever since he was a kid. He’s just got a closer connection with animals than people. He’s never been very… people friendly,” he said, choosing his words carefully.
“Hadn’t noticed,” I chuckled.
“He’s still coming to terms with this whole mating thing. It caught him way off-guard, and he’s not big on being open with anyone, and now we’re all suddenly linked,” Leon sighed.
“He doesn’t like being transparent,” I said. Damien was an odd one to read. Sometimes he seemed to hate me, other times he seemed interested. Now we were bonded, and he was stuck with it.
Hell, I wasn’t elated by the whole thing, but I guess it was my reality now.
“What about you, how do you feel about it?” I asked as I stretched my legs out, resting them on his lap and forcing him to sit back against the cushions.
“Well, I guess I’ve just accepted it. It can’t be changed, we’ll just have to get used to it. Besides, it’s not all that bad, being mated to a kitsune has plenty of positives,” he grinned.
Fuck, he was a gorgeous man. Those high cheekbones would make any girl jealous, and those soft, sweet lips. Which were currently parted in a smile, revealing his perfect white teeth.
He was clean shaven like usual, and I just stared at him.
“What’s the positives?” I murmured, my body warming up the longer I looked at him.
Yep, we were going to fuck, whether he wanted to or not.
He laughed as he heard my thoughts.
“Well, there’s the extra luck of being on your good side, then the insatiable need for sex,” he purred as I moved to straddle him.
Those eyes dilated as he smelled my interest, and his hands caressed my back, sweeping up and down it in soft motions.
“Well, can you and your boys keep up?” I smirked as I leaned in to peck his lips.
“We’re doing okay so far, aren’t we?” he said, his voice low and needy as he kissed my neck. It sent a jolt of heat through me, and I ground down.
“I guess.”
I tugged my shirt off, arching up as his head ducked down between my breas
ts. I unhooked my bra and tossed it on the floor, my panties already slick from my earlier session with Wes.
Being able to sate my sex drive easily was definitely a big bonus.
“I want you, now,” I demanded breathlessly, my body aching from the sudden need of sex.
Leon moaned as I helped him remove his grey top and fling it to the floor. Now all we needed gone were these pesky pants.
“You know we’re in the library, right?” Leon murmured as he kissed around my nipple.
“Guess we’ll have to be quiet,” I smirked, followed by a quiver as he licked my nipple.
Fuck, my body was shooting off little fireworks inside my muscles, desperate for things to get underway.
“It’s so hard to not want to take you when you start smelling so good,” he groaned as I played with the button of his jeans frantically.
“Don’t fight it then,” I growled, finally unhooking that pesky button and sliding the zip down.
“I want to take my time and enjoy you,” Leon sighed as he nibbled softly on my shoulder.
“You can enjoy me anytime,” I said quickly, my breath coming out in rasps as my lady parts ached desperately.
I slid off him, yanking my stockings and shorts off along with my panties.
I turned back, seeing him watching me with a hungry look in his eye.
I growled as I yanked down his pants, his erection pinging loose.
I quivered at the sight of it, my arousal dripping in anticipation.
Those heavenly orgasms were something to be worshipped.
“I will take it slow with you one of these days,” he growled as he leaned forward and pulled me onto his lap so I was straddling him.
“But not today, you’re too goddamn tempting today,” he moaned as he kissed along my collarbone with need.
I slid down onto his length, moaning softly as he filled me up nicely, stretching my walls.
Warmth burned through me, and he bounced me on top of him, kissing my shoulders and neck hungrily as soft rumbles resonated within his chest.
Riding him was so good, not to mention he knew how to work my body.
One hand slid down my stomach, dancing down my hip and between our joined bodies, while the other held me firmly by my back, keeping me upright on him.
I gasped as his thumb found my clit, swirling over it and teasing it.
My body reacted with soft jerks as pleasure built up inside me.
I ground down on him hard, loving how his mouth was exploring my chest and arms, kissing me all over as he fucked me.
There was something special and pure in how he screwed me, how he was so gentle and sweet with his touches.
Guess that was the angel side, considering werewolves were hot and heavy partners, fucking like wild animals.
“Do you like it like this?” he breathed, rubbing his thumb quickly over my clit and making me mew and tremble.
I knew he meant sweet sex, not rough and animalistic. With him, I certainly did.
He thrust into me, grunting as he worked his hand faster on me, and I wrapped my arms around his neck as I rode him, moaning and arching as my climax built.
“You’re mine, Sav, you’re all of ours,” he growled.
Hearing that declaration of ownership, despite my deep belief I was a free woman, was what pushed me over the edge.
I cried out as he joined me in our orgasm, the blinding light washing over me as heavenly bliss coursed through me, filling me with deep contentment and a sense of peace as it rocked through me. I clung to him, drawing in sharp breaths as my body jerked from the soft orgasmic waves quaking me.
He clung to me tightly, pinning me against him as he sucked in air, the intense orgasm still gripping him alongside my own.
We rode out the waves of godly pleasure, and all I could think about was how I’d found my place.
I’d found where I truly belonged.

I sat in my room, staring at the number of texts from Jackson.
He was extremely worried about me, telling me our father wanted me dead for being a supe.
His voicemails were strained and full of concern, and he was saying how he didn’t care about all that, I was family. Ever since he’d met me as a child, he’d decided he wanted me to be his family, even when our father told him not to get attached. I was his new sister, someone he would teach and show the ropes. Someone he’d protect and take care of, no matter what. Right now, he wanted to get me as far away as possible since our dad had gone AWOL in his search for me.
He was worried for me.
I sent him a text back, telling him I was safe and not to worry about me anymore. It was too risky to keep in contact, but I was grateful he’d reached out.
I was torn about it. Was he telling the truth? Or was he just a good actor wanting to help our father destroy me?
My text was met with an instant call, and I stared at the ringing phone in my hand, every crazy thought rushing through my mind. He couldn’t track me, I was in a warded area, so it pretty much didn’t exist according to the boys. I could answer it without risk of exposure, but I’d still make sure to keep it short and sweet.
And yet, I still hesitated.
All the lies and false life played on my mind. All of which he’d known, and he’d kept it from me.
We’d been so close, closer than any other adopted siblings in many ways. We’d hunted together and protected each other, always having one another’s back.
The call ended and I mentally slapped myself.
Maybe it was for the best.
I tossed it onto the bed, eyeing the guitar still sitting there. It needed a tune, so I’d focus on that.
I should’ve asked Leon to take me to town with him, I’d been curious about his healing abilities, but apparently Mr Oxley didn’t want me going out yet. Something about ‘not even the supe community can be trusted with a kitsune’. Whatever that meant. I should’ve at least asked for some clothes. My messenger bag had just some extra panties now. Since, y’know, they were always getting dirty thanks to sex.
I picked up the sleek guitar, loving the feel of it under my arm as I rested it on my lap.
I got to work tuning it up, humming softly to a tune I’d made up long ago.
And then I was singing, my voice low and soft as I sung a song about a huntress in the night.
Into the shadows, into the night,
Prepared to battle, eager to fight,
She’s trained all her life, to be something else,
To be feared by monsters and men alike,
A woman born to hunt and kill,
Be wary of her looks and bite.
I knew it wasn’t the greatest lyrics, but it was my song, something I’d written. I sung it softly, finishing the song before realizing someone had slipped into my room.
“You have a beautiful voice,” Tristan murmured. He was slouching against the wall, watching me with tender eyes.
“How long have you been there?” I growled.
“Long enough,” he shot back as he strode over. A quick look in his mind made me groan.
“You had the others watching?” I murmured. I didn’t realize we could project our sight and senses to the others linked. Guess he’d been learning about this unique bond we now had.
“Figured they’d like to hear it. Damien just got back too, he went out today. We’ve actually decided we’re going to order pizza tonight, so I was coming to find out what you wanted,” Tristan said as he plopped down on the bed beside me.
“Where’d he go?” I asked. I’d not sensed him here during the day now that I thought about it.
“Dunno, but what pizza would you like?” Tristan focused back on the main topic.
“Something with chicken,” I said, contemplating what I was craving. Chicken sounded good.
“All right, we can organize that for you, love,” he gave me his charming lopsided grin.
“Is Dominic not cooking?” I frowned.
“Nah, Mr Oxl
ey called and asked him to run some errands,” Tristan shrugged.
I gasped as I pushed into his mind, seeing that the pair had gotten up to mischief in Dominic’s room just after lunch today.
“Hey, don’t pry!” Tristan said playfully as he poked me in the ribs.
“He’s okay with this mated thing now?” I asked, hoping Dominic was getting over himself. I couldn’t help this.
“He’s just glad we can still do stuff, but I wouldn’t say he was enthused. Sharing has never been his strong point. Don’t take it personally,” Tristan shrugged. “He knows I sleep around, well, did, and it never bothered him. Guess he always thought I’d settle down, but now I’m taken, so…” he shrugged, letting the sentence trail off.
“I don’t care if you guys want to do stuff. You don’t belong to me,” I groaned. I really didn’t give two fucks if Tristan liked to get his dick on.
He snickered at this, and I rolled my eyes.
“I’m not stealing you from him, you two can have your romance or whatever, he just has to know I’ll want to screw you too,” I shrugged.
He laughed, a deep, beautiful sound that rocked his whole body as he laid out on the bed beside me.
“You have no jealousy issues, huh?” he noted, sifting through my mind.
Maybe if it was other women, if we were mated, but I couldn’t exactly sprout a dick for him.
“My, that would be quite a turn,” he snorted.
“Yeah, cause I’d string you up and fuck you like a dog,” I shot back.
He gave me the most shocked look I’d seen on him, before a wide grin spread across his face.
“Well, I think I’ll have to get a few things installed in my dungeon now, for some extra special playtimes,” he winked.
I got the instant image of a strap-on, and laughed out loud at it. If he thought I was going to willing stick one of those on, he’d have some real work ahead of him.
“Challenge accepted,” he cooed as he sat up, tapping me on the nose with one finger.
That wicked grin he gave me made my stomach flutter with excitement as he stood up.
“Damien wants to see you in the garage too, I’ll get onto ordering that pizza,” Tristan bowed to me, flashing me a devilish grin before he headed out.
